Job Description:
Histotechnicians are specialized medical lab workers. They play a role in diagnosing and treating diseases by working with tissue samples. A Histotechnician will receive a tissue sample from a patient then work closely with the lab manager using various equipment, chemicals and dyes to create slides to be examined by a pathologist for diagnostic and research purposes
